We are a small family run business operating since 1977.

During this time our company has not stood still. Taking on challenges in different lines of work and exploring new machine technologies, all whilst providing the best service to customers that we can.

Becoming versatile and working on housing sites, forestry estates, and everything in between.

Throughout this time we have always operated a quarry, this has been important as it provides us with the material required to carry out our jobs. It also reduces the cost of buying them in – therefore reducing the final cost to the customer.

Moving forward, Castle Plant aim to become more involved with sustainable projects and work that benefits the environment we live in, especially in the Cairngorms National Park.

To obtain these goals we have been pursuing more work on Estates regarding peatland restoration, mounding for tree planting, amongst other initiatives to promote plant and wildlife areas.

This ties in with our ongoing efforts to recycle reclaimed material in the quarry which benefits both us as the supplier and the customer.
